This is the website of the Music Aficionada. This website contains proprietary notices and copyright information and by using this website, the User agrees to be bound by our Terms and Conditions of Use, as set out here.

Automatic accumulation of information

Students enrolled in a course or program with Music Aficionada are automatically opted in to receive all email / phonically communications. These assist students up to date on:

  • Alterations to enrolled & new courses and programs of study
  • Exceptional deals and offers from our industry partners only obtainable to our students
  • Additional significant announcements In order to make sure all students are reserved

Up to date on the activities of the online & offline classes, we need to be able to communicate through email or contact directly.

Music Aficionada (“MA”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to respecting the privacy rights of its customers, online visitors (“you”, “your”, “yours”), and other users of the Website (“the Site”) referred to herein as related products and services (collectively, “Services”). We created this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) to give you confidence as you visit and use our Services and to exhibit our obligation to fair information practices and to the safeguard of privacy. This Privacy Policy is only applicable to the Services, and not to any other websites that you may be able to access from the Services, each of which may have data collection, storage, and use practices and policies that differ materially from this Privacy Policy.

Our top priority is customer data security and, as such, we exercise the no logs policy. We may process only minimal user data, only as much as it is absolutely necessary to our site, with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you for services.

SERVICES.

Music Aficionada provides three (3) levels of access to the Site and its Services:

  • Visitor Access. Any visitor to the Site will be able to access only basic information about the Site, Services, Particulars and Details of MA.
  • Registered User Access. Site visitors may register to use the Site by providing basic information to MA, and registered users receive finer access to Site Services.
  • Enrollee User Access (“Full Access”). Any Visitor or Registered users may enroll or any learner can directly enroll to “Music Aficionada Full Access” for the particular course and for the mentioned time period. This Particular Access requires either short course payments or periodic graded course payments to take and remain in effect. As an enrollee, you agree to pay for the enrollment period selected at the time of purchase. You will receive a confirmation notice upon your original effective date with information about your enrollment. You may view current information about your enrollment at any time at your account page. It is your responsibility to review the notice and your account page to ensure that it accurately reflects the requested enrollment period.

Accumulation of individual information

We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us when you create an account, publish content, make a purchase, or fill any online forms on the Website. When required, this information may include the following:

  • Personal details such as name, country of residence, etc.
  • Contact information such as email address, address, etc.
  • Account details such as user name, unique user ID, password, etc.
  • Proof of identity such as photocopy of a government ID.
  • Payment information such as credit card details, bank details, etc.
  • Any other materials you willingly submit to us such as articles, images, feedback, etc.

MA’S LAWFUL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA.

In MA’s case, the Personal Data requested from you (e.g., your name, address, email, billing information, etc.) is necessary for the entering into and the performance of the lawful contract between MA and you, under which terms, you may use and enjoy the MA’s Services. MA shall also use the information to promote its services within its registration base and, with your permission, may share it with third party or affiliate companies interested in marketing similar products to you.

In order to make the Website and Services available to you, or to meet a legal obligation, we need to collect and use certain Personal Information. If you do not provide the information that we request, we may not be able to provide you with the requested products or services. Agents

We use the services of our commissioned associates such as outside resellers, business acquaintances to fulfill orders, credit / debit card processing companies and payment gateway to process the payment for services ordered from www.musicaficionada.com website. These bodies do retain, store, share or use personally identifiable information. “MA” cannot be held responsible for usage of any such information by them for any purpose, whatsoever.

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

MINORS

If you are 18 or under, you must have permission from a parent or guardian before you give us personal information. If we find that we have received information from you without the appropriate consent, we reserve the right to cancel all transactions and services and remove all personal data that you have supplied. You will be able to resubmit the information when you have the required permission.

Privacy of children

We identify the need to provide further privacy protections with respect to Personal Information we may collect from children and take precautions to protect the privacy of them. Compatible with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), MA does not request personal information from children. We encourage children 13 years of age and under should consult with their parents before submitting any information to this and any online resource. We believe parents should be involved in the online activities of their children and suggest that parents do their best to provide their children with a safe and friendly online environment.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO

Photography and filming may take place in the following situations:

  • MA’s performances
  • MA’s events (including, for example, fundraising events, promotional, recital visits, awards and open days)
  • Custom-made photography and film shoots for publications such as the prospectus or Diary of Events
  • Rehearsals and preparation for events
  • Student examinations and assessments

How will I be informed of photo and video collection?

  • Students are made aware of, and consent to, photography and filming beforehand.
  • Mentors are required to sign a consent/release form in advance of their visit.
  • Any photography & videography involving children explicit written parental/carer consent is always required.
  • When individuals attend MA events they are informed in writing (where appropriate/possible) that photography or filming will take place and the intended use of the images.
  • A statement is included in publicity material (where appropriate/possible) explaining that photography or filming will be taking place at an event.

How will photographs or video of me be used and stored?

We store and process video footage and/or photographs for the following purposes:

  • Promotional purposes, including use in the MA’s printed materials and on its digital channels
  • Use by selected third parties for the MA’s promotional purposes (‘promotional purposes’ include but are not limited to marketing, media coverage, fundraising and recruitment)
  • Archive and educational purposes
  • Assessment/study purposes of conducting, choral conducting and composition students (where such students will be provided with copies of the recordings on request)

Video footage and/or photographs will be held in perpetuity as part of MA’s historic archive.

Use

You may use our website for personal and non-commercial use and non-commercial educational use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any content obtained from our website without permission.
